Alongside my work in strategy and political analysis, I have built an established career as a writer, commentator and broadcaster.

I write primarily about British politics, public policy and political strategy, with additional interests in history, culture and international affairs.

My work has appeared in publications including The Spectator, The New Statesman, The Telegraph, UnHerd and City A.M. I also write Joxley Writes, my independent politics publication, which has attracted several thousand readers including many influential Westminster figures.

My writing is generally informed by a centre-right perspective, but the underlying interest is broader: how political institutions work, how incentives shape decisions, and why organisations and governments behave as they do.

I regularly contribute political commentary across television, radio and podcasts.

My appearances have included BBC Newsnight, BBC Breakfast, Times Radio, LBC and GB News, alongside other national programmes and political podcasts.

I have also chaired and spoken on panels at party conferences, Westminster roundtables and business events.

Why it matters

Writing and broadcasting are not separate from my professional work. They are an extension of it.

They require the same things I bring to strategy and advisory work: understanding a complicated subject quickly, identifying what actually matters, forming a clear view, and communicating it in a way that people can understand and use.
