About me:

I’m a strategist, writer and broadcaster whose career has moved between law, business, politics and public policy.

I trained as a barrister after reading History at Cambridge, before moving into strategy and senior operational roles at a leading family law firm.  I worked closely with the firm's owners during a period of rapid growth, leading operational change, developing a new revenue line and helping build the firm's strategy function.

I subsequently worked as Chief of Staff and in senior strategy roles, supporting business owners and senior executives on organisational change, operations, communications and strategic projects. I have worked across fast-growing businesses, family offices and organisations operating internationally, including on public affairs involving governments, NGOs and the World Economic Forum.

Alongside this work, I developed a career as a writer and broadcaster. My writing has appeared in publications including The Spectator, The New Statesman, The Telegraph, UnHerd and City A.M., while my broadcast work has included BBC Newsnight, BBC Breakfast, Times Radio and other national outlets.

Since 2023 I have worked independently across strategy, political analysis, writing and advisory work. That has allowed me to combine the two sides of my career: understanding how organisations and institutions actually work, and communicating clearly about the political and strategic forces shaping them.

I recently completed an MSc in International Security and Global Governance at Birkbeck, University of London, focusing on grey-zone activity and security in NATO Europe since 2022.

​

I am now looking to bring that combination of experience into a senior full-time role while continuing selected writing and broadcasting.
