I read History at Cambridge, then trained as a barrister. I secured pupillage, but soon realised I enjoyed getting to the right answer more than the fight.

I moved into strategy at one of the UK's leading family law firms, working closely with the owners through a period of rapid growth. I led a reorganisation of the firm's operations that kept pace with its expansion, built a new revenue line, and recovered a significant amount of debt that had gone unpaid for years. I was promoted multiple times and worked closely with the owners of the business, building a strategy team under me.

From there, I ran the private family office of the chairman of a circular economy business operating across dozens of countries, overseeing day-to-day operations and building a new investment function from scratch, while leading the firm's public affairs work with governments, NGOs, and the World Economic Forum.

Alongside this, I started writing. My first Substack post went viral, and the readership it found opened the door to regular columns in The Spectator, The New Statesman, and The Telegraph. This success, and the doors it opened, allowed me to move into freelance work as a political commentator, as well as policy development and advisory services.

Today my work spans strategy, operations, political analysis, and speechwriting for businesses, think tanks, and political figures. The thread hasn't changed: proximity to where decisions are made, a clear read on what's actually happening, and the judgement to say what should be done about it.

Additionally, I recently finished an MSc in International Security and Global Governance at Birkbeck, focusing on grey-zone activity in NATO Europe since 2022.
